E8 Signature Futures Overview

E8 Signature Futures is a 1-Step challenge designed exclusively for futures traders who value speed and clarity. The path is:

• SimFi™ Challenge (Phase 1) — single evaluation phase. Hit the profit target while staying inside the EOD Dynamic Drawdown to qualify.
• SimFi™ Performance (Funded) — the simulated performance account where traders earn payouts. No live transition exists — the funded program is fully simulated.

The same drawdown amounts apply during evaluation and after passing into the Performance account.

EOD Dynamic Drawdown Mechanics

Available for: E8 Signature Futures.

How It Works

• The Loss Level rises (at end of day) only when you close a profit, not when equity rises intraday.
• Once the account reaches a closed profit in the amount equal to the EOD Dynamic Drawdown, the drawdown locks and becomes fully static — it stops rising further.
• The system updates at end of day, so intraday swings can breathe — equity spikes during the day do not move the loss level.

Calculation

• Loss Level = Highest End-of-Day Balance − EOD Drawdown amount.
• Example ($100,000 account with 3% / $3,000 EOD):
  • Day 1 close $101,000 (+$1,000 closed) → Loss Level $98,000.
  • Day 2 close $102,000 (+$1,000 closed) → Loss Level $99,000.
  • Day 3 close $101,000 (-$1,000 closed) → Loss Level stays at $99,000.
  • Day 4 close $104,000 (+$3,000 cumulative profit reached) → Loss Level $100,000 (locked).
  • Day 5+: drawdown is fully static at $100,000.

Breach Behavior

• If equity OR balance reaches/falls below the loss level, the account is permanently closed for breaching the EOD Dynamic Drawdown rule.
• Auto-closing positions after a breach may take time — closing balance above the loss level after breach does not save the account.

Consistency

SimFi™ Challenge (Evaluation, Phase 1)

• No consistency rule on evaluation accounts.

SimFi™ Performance (Funded / E8 Trader)

• 35% Best Day Rule — no single trading day may exceed 35% of total generated profits within a payout cycle.
• Violating the rule does not breach the account; it only blocks the payout. You can keep trading to grow total profits and bring the best day below the 35% threshold.
• Quick math: if your best day is $1,000, total profit must reach at least $1,000 ÷ 0.35 = $2,857 before requesting a payout.
• Anti-bypass: splitting a single trade idea across multiple days (partial closures, immediate re-opens, or staggered exits of the same position) may be consolidated by E8 into a single day for the purposes of this rule.

Algorithmic Trading

All Account Types

• Semi-automated and fully-automated trading is prohibited at E8 Markets — including trading bots, AI tools, and HFT (defined as more than 300 trades per day).
• Strategies must be replicable under both simulated and real market conditions; anything that exploits the simulated environment will not be tolerated.

Scalping Rules

All Account Types

• A minimum of 50% of all profits must come from trades with a holding period of no less than 10 seconds. This applies to both Evaluation accounts (Phase 1) and Funded accounts (E8 Trader stage).
• Tick scalping that violates the 10-second holding rule is treated as prohibited.

News Trading

All Account Types

• News trading is allowed at E8 Markets on both SimFi™ Challenge and SimFi™ Performance accounts.
• Slippage is present on E8's simulated environment because it tracks live markets — E8 recommends caution during high-impact releases.

Daily Pause (SimFi™ Performance Only)

Available For

• E8 Signature Futures (SimFi™ Performance / Funded accounts only). Not applied during Evaluation.

Per-Size Daily Pause Amounts

The Daily Pause is a fixed dollar amount derived from 2% of the initial balance. It does not change during the life of the account.

How It Works

• Each new day, the pause line is set to: starting balance for the day − fixed $.
• If equity or balance falls below the pause line, trading is paused until 00:00 server time.
• Daily Pause is not a hard breach. The account is re-activated at the start of the next trading day.
• Slippage past the 2% line is not rebalanced by E8; use stop-losses to keep losses inside the pause line.

Inactivity Rule

All Account Types (SimFi™ Challenge and Performance)

• Accounts inactive for 7 consecutive days will be disabled and are not eligible for a refund.
• Placing at least one trade within the 7-day window prevents deactivation.

Trading Hours

• General permitted trading hours: 17:00 to 15:10 CT.
• All open positions are forced to close every day at 15:10 CT.
• Trading is not allowed outside these windows.

Copy Trading

• Copy trading is allowed across the trader's own accounts (Evaluation, E8 Trader / Sim Funded, or personal accounts) as long as all those accounts belong to the same individual.
• Cooperation with other traders — including hedging, copy trading, or coordinated strategies across unconnected accounts — is strictly prohibited.

DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging)

• DCA is allowed and can be used freely.
• Strategies must avoid exploiting simulated market weaknesses or other prohibited practices (e.g. hedging across accounts, all-or-nothing trades).

Hedging

• Hedging across multiple accounts — including accounts belonging to the same trader — is strictly prohibited.
• Hedging within a single account (offsetting opposing positions on the same instrument) is also prohibited as it undermines the integrity of the simulated environment.

Front Month Contract Requirement

• Traders are required to always trade the Front Month Contract (the contract with the highest volume / liquidity) on every instrument.
• Trading the incorrect month contract may result in account termination or deduction of any profit made on the incorrect contract.

Other Prohibited Practices

• Strategies that exploit imperfections of the simulated market (gapped/illiquid market trading, exploiting slow data feeds, exploiting price-display errors).
• Holding any position within 2% of a product's lock limit.
• Irresponsible trading and All-or-Nothing strategies (large-volume trades without a coherent strategy or risk management).
• Account management by a different individual — all accounts must be traded solely by the named owner.
• All trading must comply with CME Group rules and regulations.
• Any prohibited practice may result in termination of the account and forfeiture of related profits.

Maximum Contract Sizes

Each account size has its own maximum allowed margin and corresponding contract limits.

• The number of actual positions you can open depends on the margin per contract for that instrument.
• Calculation: Allowed Margin ÷ Margin Per Contract = Position Size.
• Examples:
  • On a $150,000 account (12 contracts, $120,000 margin): 12 E-mini S&P 500 ($10,000 margin each), or 120 Micro E-mini S&P ($1,000 margin each), or 60 Silver ($2,000 margin each).
  • On a $100,000 account (8 contracts, $80,000 margin): 8 Euro FX ($10,000 margin), 80 Micro Crude Oil ($1,000 margin), 40 Silver ($2,000 margin).
• CME, NYMEX, COMEX, and CBOT instruments are supported. The full per-instrument margin table is published in E8's max-contract-sizes article.

Passed Accounts

• Users may have unlimited accounts in Evaluation reserves. Passed (qualified) accounts will remain dormant if you have already reached the maximum of 5 active funded accounts.

Max Number of Accounts

• Unlimited evaluation accounts (Phase 1).
• Maximum of 5 Simulated Funded (E8 Trader) accounts at the same time.
• These limits apply per household — multiple users sharing the same residence/IP cannot collectively exceed 5 funded accounts. Combined maximum across all E8 Signature lines is $750,000 in simulated capital (5 × $150K).

Single User Profile Policy

• Only one user profile is allowed per individual; all challenge purchases must be made through one registered user profile.
• All accounts must be traded solely by their respective owners. Multiple profiles under different emails or trading from another user are violations of E8's terms and may result in suspension of active accounts and the user profile.

Clear Path to Live

When Traders Are Moved To Live

• Traders are not moved to live accounts at E8 Markets. The funded program operates entirely on simulated accounts (SimFi™ Performance).

Payout On Demand

E8 Signature Futures accounts feature Payout On Demand, allowing you to request your payout share whenever you meet the eligibility requirements. This feature rewards consistency and discipline while promoting responsible trading behavior.

Payout Split: 80/20 (80% to the trader, 20% to E8 Markets).

Eligibility Requirements

You must meet all requirements below to qualify for a payout:

• 35% Best Day Rule (Consistency): No single trading day can exceed 35% of your total generated profits in the payout cycle.
• Minimum Payout Amount: $100 paid to the trader, which means a payout request of at least $125 (because 80% of $125 = $100). The processor (WorkMarket / Riseworks) may apply its own minimums and processing fees on top.
• Profitable Trading Days:
  • Minimum of 5 profitable days between each payout.
  • A profitable day is defined as a day where the realized closed P&L equals 0.3% or more of your account balance.
• Profitable day count resets to zero after each payout request.

Payout Buffer

Before you can request a payout, you must maintain a buffer balance in your account equal to your EOD Dynamic Drawdown. This buffer acts as a safety net to protect you from violating your End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown limit after requesting a payout.

• The buffer cannot be withdrawn and must remain in your account at all times.
• Example: If your EOD is 4% and your initial balance is $100,000, your required buffer is $4,000.

Payout Caps

Payout caps determine the maximum amount you can request in a single payout. These limits increase as you progress through payout cycles.

The tables below show the minimum balance needed to request the maximum payout amount for each cycle. You can request smaller payouts as long as you maintain the buffer requirement and meet the minimum payout amount.

Payout Window and Processing

• Once you satisfy all payout criteria, you can request payment at any time directly from your account dashboard.
• Payouts are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends).
• After processing, you will receive your profits in 1-3 business days.
• The full process may take 2-5 business days from request to receipt.
• After your payout is approved, you will receive an invitation link and email confirmation that you can resume trading.
• You can receive your earnings through WorkMarket (regular bank transfer) or Riseworks (various cryptocurrency options).
• E8 Markets does not charge any commission for payouts. However, the payment processor (WorkMarket or Riseworks) may charge processing fees.

Onboarding Note

• To receive a payout, you must be eligible to onboard with WorkMarket or Riseworks (KYC). Traders in countries or regions unsupported by both processors cannot be paid out.
