Plan Overview
FundedNext Futures offers three distinct evaluation/funded tracks:
- Rapid Challenge → Rapid FundedNext Account — fast, consistency-based path with 40% rule.
- Legacy Challenge → Legacy FundedNext Account — benchmark-day path with no consistency rule on funded (post Nov 21, 2025).
- Bolt Challenge → Bolt FundedNext Account — fixed-target challenge → 5-withdrawal sim funded with EOD buffer at $52,100.
After completing one of the FundedNext Account paths and meeting the $100,000 Total Active Profits threshold (or earlier by discretionary review), traders can transition to the FundedNext Live Trading Program (real capital).
Available account sizes: $25K, $50K, $100K across all three challenge types. There is no $150K size on FundedNext Futures.
Consistency
Evaluation
- Rapid challenges do not have a consistency rule.
- 40% consistency rule for Legacy challenges.
- 40% consistency rule for Bolt during the Challenge phase.
Sim Funded
- 40% consistency rule on Rapid FundedNext Accounts.
- No consistency rule on Legacy FundedNext Accounts (for challenges purchased or reset after November 21, 2025).
- No consistency rule in the Bolt FundedNext Account.
Calculation
- Highest Profit Contribution = (Highest Profit Day / Total Profit) × 100%.
- If the contribution is below 40%, the rule is satisfied. If above 40%, the trader simply keeps trading until total profits dilute the best day below 40%.
- It typically takes at least 3 trading days for the rule to be satisfiable.
Algorithmic Trading
Permitted
- Expert Advisors (EAs) and trading bots are allowed on both the Challenge phase and on FundedNext Accounts.
- FundedNext does not provide support for setup, configuration, or troubleshooting of automated systems. Any technical errors, execution delays, or system malfunctions are the trader's responsibility.
Prohibited
- Strategies that exploit system vulnerabilities — including latency abuse and order flooding — are strictly prohibited.
- Grid or bracket methods that exploit simulators, very short micro-scalps, order spamming, coordinated trading, and copy trading from other traders' accounts also fall under restricted strategies.
- Your system must demonstrate real trading skill and follow normal market practices without exploiting loopholes.
Scalping Rules (Micro-Scalping Policy)
Definition
- Micro-scalping is identified when 40% or more of total profit is generated from trades closed within 10 seconds.
- Traders may always close trades at a loss without restriction — losing trades do not count toward the micro-scalping threshold.
Evaluation Accounts (Challenges)
- Rapid, Legacy, and Bolt Challenges receive a formal warning if micro-scalping is detected. The account is not breached.
Funded Accounts
- All FundedNext Accounts (Rapid, Legacy, Bolt) receive a warning, and any profits generated from micro-scalping activity are deducted. The account is not breached.
News Trading
All Account Types
- News trading is allowed without restrictions, except for traders enrolled in the Disciplined Trader Program (see below).
Trading Hours and Position Holding
Daily Close
- All open positions must be closed by 3:10 PM Central Time (CT) every trading day, Monday through Friday.
- If you fail to close on your own, the system automatically closes all open positions at the end of the trading day.
- Trading resumes at 5:00 PM CT the same day.
- After the weekend, trading resumes on Sunday at 5:00 PM CT.
Overnight & Weekend Holding
- Overnight holding of positions is strictly prohibited.
- Weekend holding is also strictly prohibited.
- This policy exists to manage gap risk on market reopen and protect accounts from price fluctuations outside trading hours.
Inactivity Rule
Evaluation Accounts (Challenges)
- All Challenges (Rapid, Legacy, Bolt) are breached and deactivated after 7 consecutive calendar days with no trades.
Funded Accounts
- All FundedNext Accounts (Rapid, Legacy, Bolt) are marked inactive and deactivated after 30 consecutive calendar days with no trades.
- You must reset your account to regain access and continue trading.
How Inactivity Is Counted
- From the day the Challenge is purchased, if no trade is placed by 04:01 PM CT, the inactivity day count begins.
- Calendar days are counted (weekends included).
- Placing at least one trade resets the inactivity counter.
- The inactivity count increases each day at 04:01 PM CT. Once the day threshold is reached, the account is breached at 04:01 PM CT.
Copy Trading
Allowed
- Copy trading between your own FundedNext accounts is permitted.
- Copy trading between FundedNext and other prop firms is permitted if you own all accounts involved.
- Use of copy trading tools is permitted, including:
- Tradovate's built-in copy trading feature
- NinjaTrader modules (e.g., Replikanto)
- Any third-party platforms used for copying your own trades only
Not Allowed
- Group trading or coordinating trades with other traders is not permitted, whether inside or outside FundedNext.
- Subscribing to trading signal services is not permitted.
- Using external signals to guide trading decisions is not permitted.
- Copying trades from another person's account is not permitted, even via automated tools or trade copiers.
Verification
- FundedNext may request verification that all accounts involved are registered under the exact same name.
- Any variation in spelling or identity will not be accepted.
DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging)
Policy
- DCA is allowed when used as part of a structured strategy with risk management.
- Thoughtful and disciplined DCA approaches are welcomed.
Disciplined Trader Program
The Disciplined Trader Program is an educational and corrective initiative for traders flagged by FundedNext's risk management systems for excessive risk-taking, high drawdowns, or inconsistent discipline. It's designed to rebuild structured risk-management habits and patience.
Who It Applies To
- Traders whose activity has been identified as high-risk by FundedNext's risk-management systems.
- Enrollment is at FundedNext's discretion — it's not optional once flagged.
Required Parameters While Enrolled
- Maximum risk per trade: must not exceed 1% of the account's initial balance.
- Mandatory Stop Loss: every trade must include a predefined Stop Loss.
- Margin utilization cap: maximum overall margin usage is 30% at any time.
- News trading is strictly prohibited. Traders must not execute trades during high-impact economic events.
Account Allocation Cap
- Disciplined Trader Program traders may purchase multiple Challenge accounts.
- However, on passing, the maximum allocation across their FundedNext Accounts is capped at $50,000.
Passed Accounts
Account Limits
You may keep passed evaluation accounts as reserves. FundedNext permits up to $700,000 total allocation across Challenge accounts (with up to 15 Challenges purchasable per month and unlimited resets up to that allocation cap), and up to 5 active FundedNext Accounts per individual or household at any one time.
Examples (Challenge Allocation)
- Seven $100K Challenges = $700K (max).
- Four $100K + Two $50K = $500K (within limit).
- Two $25K + Six $100K = $650K (within limit).
Max Number of Accounts
- Challenge Accounts: up to $700,000 total allocation; up to 15 Challenges purchasable per month; unlimited resets.
- FundedNext Accounts (Funded): up to 5 simultaneous active accounts per individual AND per household, regardless of account size. Mix-and-match $25K, $50K, and $100K within these 5 slots.
- When the funded cap is reached, additional passed Challenges are placed on hold and only allocated when an existing FundedNext Account breaches or is discontinued.
- Allocation limits are subject to periodic review by FundedNext.
Household Definition
- A household is defined as family members or multiple users sharing the same address or IP.
Clear Path to Live (FundedNext Live Trading Program)
Eligibility
- A trader becomes eligible for review after reaching the Qualification Threshold of $100,000 in Total Active Profits across all active FundedNext Futures accounts.
- Total Active Profits include both withdrawals taken and current simulated profits across active accounts.
- In some cases, traders may be considered for review before reaching $100,000 based on demonstrated consistency. Selection is at the FundedNext Risk Desk's discretion and is not guaranteed.
- The review process is typically completed within 5 business days. While under review, all active FundedNext Accounts are temporarily paused. Once selected, transition to Live is mandatory.
Eligible Profit Calculation
- Eligible Profit = 80% of Total Simulated Profit.
- Eligible Profit is then split into three components:
| Component | Share | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Settlement Withdrawal | 50% | Paid to the trader within 3-5 business days. |
| Live Trading Deposit | 25% | Becomes the live account's starting balance. Capped at $50,000. |
| Reserve | Remaining 25% (or more if the 25% live deposit was capped) | Refill pool used to top up the live account after withdrawals. No cap. |
If 25% of Eligible Profit exceeds $50,000, the excess is added to the Reserve.
Auto Liquidation Threshold (Live MLL)
- The Auto Liquidation Threshold is a static equity limit. If account equity (including unrealized losses) falls below this level, the live account is permanently liquidated.
- Initial threshold (before first withdrawal): 20% of the initial Live Deposit (i.e. an 80% drawdown allowance from the starting live balance).
- $20,000 deposit → threshold $4,000
- $40,000 deposit → threshold $8,000
- $50,000 deposit → threshold $10,000
- After the first withdrawal: the threshold locks permanently at the initial Live Deposit amount and does not trail with subsequent gains.
- The threshold is based on equity, not balance — unrealized losses count.
The Reserve System
- The Reserve auto-refills the live account every time a withdrawal is taken.
- First $10,000 withdrawn (cumulative): 100% match — $1 added from Reserve for every $1 withdrawn.
- After $10,000 withdrawn: 50% match — $1 added from Reserve for every $2 withdrawn.
- Refills continue automatically until the Reserve reaches $0. The Reserve has no maximum cap.
Live Account Withdrawals
- Profit split: 80% trader / 20% FundedNext.
- Minimum withdrawal: $100 per request.
- You must generate at least $500 in new closed profit between withdrawal requests (applies to every request after the first).
- CME rules apply during withdrawal requests.
- Full balance withdrawal is permitted after 45 Benchmark Days with at least $150 profit each, leaving a minimum of $160 in the account. Doing so permanently closes the Live Account and forfeits any remaining Reserve.
- Live withdrawals take approximately 2-5 business days to process (handled by NinjaTrader Brokerage).
- If the Reserve is depleted and a withdrawal would bring balance to the Auto Liquidation Threshold, the account is automatically liquidated.
Transition Process
After Qualifying
- The trader's FundedNext Accounts undergo final review.
- All active FundedNext Accounts are disabled.
- Active Challenges remain untouched. Passed Challenges stay dormant; their FundedNext Accounts are processed only after the Live Account is breached.
- The Live Account is set up — typically takes 3-7 business days.
- Notifications sent via email and dashboard.
Multiple Accounts Handling
- All active FundedNext Futures accounts are combined when calculating Total Simulated Profit, Eligible Profit, Settlement Withdrawal, Live Deposit, and Reserve.
Live Account Failure / Closure
- If the Live Account is liquidated, the account is permanently closed. Access to any remaining Reserve and balance is lost. The account cannot be reset.
- You may continue purchasing and passing new Challenges during your Live Account run; new FundedNext Accounts will be placed on standby until the Live Account becomes inactive.
Plan Summary
FundedNext Futures uses the term Performance Reward for what most other firms call a payout. All three FundedNext Account types operate on an 80/20 split (80% trader / 20% FundedNext). Available account sizes: $25K, $50K, $100K.
Withdrawal Workflow (All Plans)
- Check eligibility. Each plan has its own consistency / Benchmark Day / cycle profit requirements (see per-plan sections below).
- Transfer profit to wallet. From the Account Overview page, click "Proceed to Withdraw" once eligible. Enter the amount (minimum $250). Click "Transfer Wallet" to move the amount into the Payout section.
- Legacy-only constraint: if total profit in the Legacy FundedNext Account is less than $500, the "Proceed to Withdraw" button is locked.
- Withdraw from the Payout section. Choose your preferred withdrawal method.
MLL Reset on First Withdrawal
- Rapid / Legacy FundedNext Accounts: after the first withdrawal, the Maximum Loss Limit is set to the initial account balance (no longer trailing).
- Bolt FundedNext Account: after the first withdrawal, the MLL is set to $50,100 (initial $50,000 plus the $100 buffer over starting balance).
Rapid FundedNext Account
Reward Share: 80/20 (80% to the trader, 20% to FundedNext).
Requirements
- You must meet the 40% consistency rule (highest single-day profit cannot exceed 40% of total profit).
- You must have minimum profits in the current trading cycle:
- $250 for $25,000 accounts
- $250 for $50,000 accounts
- $500 for $100,000 accounts
- No minimum benchmark days required.
- Minimum withdrawal amount:
- $250 for 25K and 50K accounts
- $500 for 100K accounts
- Payout cap removed after 5 payouts. From the 6th payout onward, traders can withdraw without per-cycle dollar limits.
Withdrawal Frequency
- You may request withdrawals as soon as you meet the consistency rule, which typically takes at least 3 trading days from your first trade or last withdrawal.
| Max Payout Per Cycle (Rapid only, payouts 1-5) | |
|---|---|
| Account Size | Max Payout |
| $25,000 | $800 |
| $50,000 | $1,500 |
| $100,000 | $2,500 |
Trading Cycle
- A trading cycle runs from one Performance Reward request to the next.
- The first cycle begins from your initial account balance until your first withdrawal.
Important Notes
- After your first withdrawal, the Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) is set to the initial balance (no longer trailing).
- Withdrawing all of your simulated profit in a single request causes a hard breach.
Legacy FundedNext Account
Reward Share: 80/20 (80% to the trader, 20% to FundedNext).
Requirements
- No consistency rule (for challenges purchased or reset after November 21, 2025).
- You must complete at least 5 qualifying Benchmark Days, with each day meeting the minimum daily profit:
- $100 per day for $25,000 accounts
- $200 per day for $50,000 accounts
- $200 per day for $100,000 accounts
- You must accumulate at least $500 in profits in the current trading cycle (post first withdrawal). The "Proceed to Withdraw" button stays locked until this threshold is met.
- Minimum withdrawal amount: $250.
- Before reaching 30 Benchmark Days, you can withdraw up to 50% of your accumulated profit per cycle, capped at:
- $3,000 for $25,000 accounts
- $6,000 for $50,000 accounts
- $6,000 for $100,000 accounts
- After 30 Benchmark Days the 50% cap and dollar limits are removed; traders may withdraw up to 100% of simulated profit.
Withdrawal Frequency
- You may request withdrawals once you have at least 5 fresh Benchmark Days plus $500 in cycle profit.
Trading Cycle
- A trading cycle runs from one Performance Reward withdrawal to the next.
- The first cycle begins from the first trade on the FundedNext Account until the first withdrawal request.
Important Notes
- The first withdrawal resets the Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) back to the initial balance (no longer trailing).
- Withdrawing all of your simulated profit in a single request causes a hard breach.
- Growth calculations are based on the withdrawn amount.
Bolt FundedNext Account
Reward Share: 80/20 (80% to the trader, 20% to FundedNext).
Requirements
- No consistency rule on the Bolt FundedNext Account.
- You must earn at least $250 profit in the current cycle.
- End-of-Day (EOD) balance must be at least $52,100 (the buffer above the $50,000 starting balance).
- No minimum trading days required.
Withdrawal Limits
- Minimum withdrawal: $250.
- Maximum withdrawal: $1,200 per cycle (for withdrawals 1-4).
- Maximum number of withdrawals: 5 total — after 5, the Bolt FundedNext Account is closed with the status "Concluded."
Bolt Withdrawal Journey
- Withdrawals 1-4: Minimum $250 profit required per cycle. Profits above $52,100 are eligible for withdrawal, subject to the $250-$1,200 limits.
- Withdrawal 5 (Final Settlement): Once EOD balance reaches at least $52,100 with at least $250 profit in the current cycle, the trader can withdraw all profits including the buffer — anything above $50,000 is withdrawable, up to $7,700.
MLL Reset
- After the first withdrawal, the Bolt account's MLL is set to $50,100 (initial balance + $100 buffer above starting).
Disciplined Trader Program — Allocation Cap
- Traders enrolled in the Disciplined Trader Program (a corrective program for traders flagged as high-risk) are capped at a maximum $50,000 allocation across their FundedNext Accounts after passing.
- See the Detailed Rules document for the full Disciplined Trader Program rules (1% max risk per trade, mandatory stop loss, 30% margin cap, no news trading).
Live Trading Withdrawals
After transition into the FundedNext Live Trading Program, withdrawal rules change. (See the Detailed Rules document for the full Live Trading Program structure — Eligible Profit calculation, Live Deposit cap, Reserve System, Auto Liquidation Threshold.)
Live Profit Split: 80% to the trader / 20% to FundedNext on every withdrawal.
Minimum Withdrawal: $100 per request.
Frequency Rule: You must generate at least $500 in new closed profit between withdrawal requests (applies after the first withdrawal).
Full Balance Withdrawal: Permitted only after 45 Benchmark Days with at least $150 profit each, leaving a minimum of $160 in the account. This permanently closes the Live Account and forfeits any remaining Reserve.
Processing Time: 2-5 business days. Live withdrawals are handled directly by NinjaTrader Brokerage; the FundedNext Brand Promise does not apply to Live Account withdrawals.
Liquidation Risk: If the Reserve is depleted and a withdrawal brings the balance down to the Auto Liquidation Threshold, the account auto-liquidates and is permanently closed. CME rules apply during all withdrawal requests.
