Lucid Trading is straightforward and reliable. The rules make sense, the platform runs smoothly, and there’s nothing getting in the way of actually trading. It’s simple, practical, and does exactly what you need it to do.

Lucid is definitely top tier when it comes to props. Dashboard, rules, customer service, pricing, plan selection........all top of the line in the industry in my opinion. Very clear, clean, and easy all around.

What They Get Right: 1.The pricing is legitimately hard to argue with. No activation fee, no monthly subscription — just a one-time payment. The 25K Flex account has run as low as $75 during discount windows, which are pretty frequent. For newer traders especially, that removes a lot of the financial pressure that kills momentum early. 2. The LucidFlex 25K also has one of the best profit target-to-drawdown ratios in the space right now. You're not being asked to hit a massive target on a razor-thin buffer. That matters a lot when you're starting out. 3. The no Daily Loss Limit on Flex accounts is probably my favourite thing about this firm. Most places will blow your account on a volatile session even if your trade was directionally correct. Lucid only updates your drawdown floor at end of day. So you can hold through intraday chaos, let the market settle, and still be in the game. That's a rule made by someone who actually trades. 4. Payouts are shockingly fast — under 15 minutes on average. Traders have reported 30+ withdrawals with zero holds or rejections. In a space where "under review" can mean two weeks of silence, that's not a small thing. 5. Platform support is solid too — Rithmic, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and Quantower. Algo traders can even connect via Python or Java through the Rithmic feed. Most firms at this price don't bother with that. And genuinely — the onboarding experience is one of the friendliest I've seen. Clean dashboard, live drawdown tracking, sub-5-minute support response times, and a founder who's actually active on Discord. Beginners won't feel thrown into the deep end. Where It Falls Short: 1. The firm is young — roughly 14 months old. Great track record so far, but we haven't seen how they hold up under real market stress or at much larger scale. 2. The rules have changed multiple times already. LucidBlack launched and was discontinued within a year. If you're building a strategy around specific conditions, that's a real risk.

Overall, Lucid has been a great experience. If I were to build a prop firm from scratch, it would look exactly like this. Honestly, it’s the closest thing to the "golden era" TopStep that we've seen in a long time. The cost-to-quality ratio here is insane—almost to the point where it sounds too good to be true. I haven't experienced any bugs or platform outages, and payouts work like magic. It was actually the first time in my prop firm history where a payout was approved in literally minutes. My only major gripe is their customer support. Their Terms of Service allow hedging within a single account, so I assumed the same rule applied if I copy-traded across all five of my accounts. Instead, I ended the day with an email stating I had violated the hedging rule, and all my profits for the day were wiped out. When I reached out to support to clarify that I didn't actually hedge, the responses were incredibly blunt and rude—basically just a rigid "You hedged, full stop." I tried providing mathematical proof and emailed them multiple times, but I just felt completely disrespected. Other than that hiccup, Lucid is still great. I continue to use them and would recommend them to traders of any skill level.

Love the straight forward reviews, and quick payouts. Their onboarding to live takes a little of time and could be streamlined and have more visibility, but otherwise, top tier firm! Excited to be going live with them
