Activation Fee

Activation fee is a one-time payment after passing a prop evaluation challenge to activate your simulated funding account. This practice is being largely phased out but some prop firms still offer cheaper accounts with a separate activation fee (rather than including it in the price of evaluation).

If you feel that you may need more than a couple tries to pass an evaluation, you may want to choose a lower cost account with a separate activation fee. That will save you unnecessary expenses.
