Apex Trader Funding

The 20 active PA accounts are shared across all people in the same house, companies you own, and connections, on Rithmic, Tradovate and WealthCharts combined. Exceeding it means ineligibility for payout, forfeiture of all funds, closure of all performance accounts and a permanent ban.

Apex's Live Prop Trading Program is invitation-based and is not triggered by a fixed threshold. Apex may weigh trading discipline, consistency, risk management, total lifetime simulated payouts, trading style, P&L balances, the speed of profit accumulation and a trader's history with the firm. Apex does publish two examples of when monitoring for live candidacy may begin — after three consecutive withdrawals from a single simulated PA, or when accumulated simulated profit balances indicate live-level activity — but states plainly that these are monitoring guidelines, not automatic qualification rules. Apex may move a trader earlier, or decide they need longer in simulation. A trader cannot hold live and simulated accounts at the same time: on selection, all evaluations and Performance Accounts are closed or deactivated.
