Apex Trader Funding Reviews

I personally havent had any issues with Apex, so far only good. Their support helped clarified some rules for me, and it with a quick response back. Their rules can be a little tricky to find compared to other firms, or at least used to, but the rules arent too bad as long as you're not a yolo/gambling trader. I've yet to reach a payout, so I hope to respond back later to update this review.

Now that APEX has the accounts with EOD drawdown (trail), they are alright with me! The rules are clear and easy to follow, I can use it on my favorite platforms for charting like Tradingview (by way of Tradovate), they have so many accounts to choose from and the icing on the cake is that they almost ALWAYS offer amazing deals! The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to keep up with the drawdown once you have started trading. I've had to calculate it myself instead of just being able to access it on my account dashboard so I can be aware of it. But overall, APEX is a good prop firm I would recommend!

Tricky but full of potential. Very cheap accounts. Trade 20 funded accounts! One of the only prop firms that allows trading up to 20 funded accounts at the same time, so you can imagine how much you can possibly earn. I say it is tricky because of the intraday trailing drawdown on the legacy accounts. But once you're over the initial buffer, it stops trailing at the starting balance. There is also a consistency and minimum trading days rule, though the consistency rule seems to bug most since your total profit target moves up to become payout eligible, taking more trading days. Customer Care 9/10 When I was trading with Apex it was just email there was no chat so taking one point off for that, but otherwise everything was resolved. User Experience 9/10 The website was very basic looking with lots of text and many warnings especially on the checkout screen, mostly about reminding users to be attentive when making selections as there are final and non refundable. The initial vibe I got from it was it was a scam because of how seemingly unpolished it looked so taking 1 point off for that. But once getting thought that and over onto Tradovate, it is same as all other firms working Tradovate, low lag and no delay, smooth executions. Trading Rules 9/10 Straightforward simple rules. But the intraday trailing drawdown is tricky one for many so taking 1 point off for that. Otherwise upon clearing the initial buffer, the max drawdown locks at the initial balance giving great opportunity to scale up. Payout Process 9/10 Can trade 20 funded accounts and at that time no payout cap. There have been payout of $1m+ approved from Apex. At that time it was the only firm that made something like that possible for traders. Taking a point off for there being several payout requirements like the consistency rule which do get payouts denied. As well as at that time a payout request window which made the process more cumbersome.

My experience with Apex Trader Funding has been pretty mixed. The biggest issue for me was the support — getting clear answers sometimes took longer than it should, which can be frustrating when you need help with something account-related. I’m also not a big fan of some of their rules, as they can feel quite restrictive depending on how you trade. The firm definitely has some positives, but personally I found the overall experience more complicated than I expected. It’s not necessarily a bad choice, but there are other futures prop firms where I feel the rules and support are easier to deal with.

Honestly, Apex has never really appealed to me. The rules feel pretty restrictive compared to other firms, especially with things like the MAE rules and the fact that they can request recordings of your live trading at their discretion. I find that level of monitoring a bit excessive. The pricing is another issue. They constantly advertise 90% off, but once you factor in the activation fee, the accounts don’t feel nearly as cheap as the marketing makes them seem. Overall, I think there are better options out there with more reasonable rules, better value for money, and a less restrictive trading environment. Apex just wouldn’t be one of my top choices.

worst firm, never payout, using trailing drawndown in funded is rlly bad for beginners, bad customer service

I’ve been a long-time supporter of Apex Trader Funding and had a positive experience with the firm for quite some time. However, when I finally became eligible for a payout, my account was suddenly banned without any clear reason or explanation. Although my account has now been unbanned, the whole experience was very disappointing and has seriously affected my trust in the firm. I invested a lot of time and effort into trading and following the rules, so being banned right when I reached the payout stage was extremely frustrating. Even though the issue has now been resolved, I no longer feel comfortable continuing to trade with this firm and have decided to move on.

My first payout was with APEX. And they changed my life. Apex is a solid prop firm when you cand make more money and learn Risk.

I have traded thier legacy plans, but with the recent events and thier change in rules I am not feeling confident to try them again. They were good , but now they seem lost touch with trader's confidence.

no doubt one of the best firm , up to 20 account and 100% profit split no one can offer that , t took multiple payout good and smooth process , zero payout denied , and Reliable Accounts pricing with many options.
