Review for apex
Apex has also helped me develop better patience and risk management. Trading with funded capital encouraged me to treat every trade like a business decision instead of chasing quick profits, and that shift in mindset has made a noticeable difference in my consistency. Customer support has been responsive whenever I've had questions, and the overall experience has been smooth from start to finish. While success ultimately depends on the trader, Apex provides a solid opportunity and the tools to help serious traders succeed. I'm grateful for the opportunities Apex Trader Funding has given me, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to build their futures trading career. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Firm has been out for a while. But the rule changes made it less desirable. They are prone to deny payout and the trading rules are very strict.

My experience with APEX was **before their most recent rule changes**, so I can't comment on how they operate today. Prior to those changes, I genuinely considered APEX one of the best prop firms available. Their pricing—especially during the frequent 90% off promotions—was unmatched. I don't think there was another firm offering a comparable opportunity at that price point. The rules were fair, the platform worked reliably, and the overall experience was excellent. The only consistent downside I experienced was the payout speed. Although my payout was approved without issues, it took around a week and a half to receive the funds, which felt slower than it should have been. I did have one significant issue that ultimately made me stop trading with them. During a high-impact news event, I placed an order that wasn't filled until roughly five seconds later due to what appeared to be a platform execution issue. I had detailed execution data, including millisecond-level timestamps and order book depth, which supported my view that the fill was incorrect. I submitted all of this to their support team, but their response was simply that trading news is the trader's responsibility. While I understand that news trading carries additional execution risk, I didn't feel my evidence was properly considered. After that experience, I decided not to trade with APEX again. Overall, based on my experience **before the rule changes**, APEX offered exceptional value and was one of the strongest prop firms in the industry. My only real criticisms were the slow payout processing and how my execution dispute was handled.

Pretty average. The rules are kinda iffy but they've gotten better recently. I haven't gotten a payout from this firm but I've heard they deny some payouts. Their prices are good, always 90% off. I only recommend if you're an experienced trader. Good for scaling after getting max allocation on other firms.

Apex offers affordable evaluations, a straightforward dashboard, and the ability to manage multiple funded accounts, which makes it attractive for futures traders. The company has made meaningful improvements to its payout system, and many traders report receiving payouts successfully. However, the rules can still be confusing because requirements differ between legacy, intraday, and EOD accounts. The consistency requirements, balance thresholds, and six-payout limit on newer accounts reduce the overall value compared with firms offering uncapped funded accounts. Payout approvals appear more reliable than before, but the money can still take several business days or longer to reach your bank. Overall, Apex is a solid option when purchased at a heavy discount, but traders need to fully understand the exact rules for their account type before trading.

Personally i dont really use apex anymore because they keep increasing prices and the payout process took 2 weeks for me which is way to long compare to most other firms. also the trading rules were harder before but now it seems a bit easier but at the cost of higher prices. the dashboard is a bit outdated and not as informative either. the good side is you can scale lots of accounts so if your profitable then this can make you bank.

The introduction of their new End-of-Day accounts is a massive upgrade over the old trailing drawdown model, removing a ton of intraday stress. The updated dashboard makes tracking your status incredibly simple, so you always know exactly where you stand regarding rule compliance. For traders looking to scale, the ability to run up to 20 accounts simultaneously is a huge plus. They run 90% off sales so frequently that the initial cost to get started is so cheap. I'm not a fan of the drawdown buffers or the rules on their intraday accounts. Their payout reputation is also not the best.

Apex is a great firm for advanced level traders. No one else in the space lets you have 20 accounts and it can be a game changer for making a lot of money. Most of their rules are pretty standard with the updated changes - their account are very easy to pass with news which is great! The only downside is the amount of times they have changed their rules and live account plans. Seems like every month they change something and it's hard to keep track of the rule changes. They do pay out and it is seamless. I have gotten over 10 payouts from them.

I have used APEX but have never taken a payout so I can’t comment on that from personal experience. Trading-wise I was using accounts when trailing drawdown was the norm. Trailing drawdown is the worse drawdown to have to trade with. A spike in your favor followed by a drop back down can blow your account even if your position was in profit. They have since added a live program that is extremely questionable, with traders waiting months for information. I know traders personally who have cashed out tens of thousands of dollars. But I think there are far better options than apex especially if you are starting out.
