Review for apex

Review

I previously traded an Apex Trader Funding 25K Intraday account. My goal was to qualify for payouts and gradually scale up to the maximum of 20 accounts. One of Apex's biggest advantages is its large capital allocation. Many traders have received substantial payouts by managing multiple Apex accounts, making it one of the best prop firms for traders who want to scale their trading business. Unfortunately, my 25K Intraday account was breached because of the intraday trailing drawdown rule. That experience made me realize that managing an intraday trailing drawdown is not as easy as it seems. Now that Apex has introduced EOD accounts, I believe they are a much better fit for my trading style. I'm planning to purchase up to 20 EOD accounts soon and work toward building them consistently for long-term payouts.

The firm looks good if you want to have 20 accounts. Otherwise I feel there are better firms out there you should try first before going for Apex when it comes to rules and cost.

Review for apex

Review

I've traded with Apex Trader Funding for a considerable amount of time and have used both their evaluation and funded accounts. They are the first firm i ever used and received a payout from. One of the biggest advantages of Apex is the low-cost evaluations, especially during their frequent discount promotions. This makes it very affordable to get started compared to many other futures prop firms. The profit targets are achievable, and they offer a wide range of account sizes to suit different trading styles. The platform support is another strong point. Being able to trade through platforms like Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and others gives traders flexibility depending on their preferred setup. Order execution has generally been reliable in my experience, and I haven't encountered any major issues while placing or closing trades. The payout system has improved significantly over time. Once you understand and follow the firm's rules, payouts are straightforward, and I've had a positive experience receiving them. Apex has also built a large community of traders, so it's easy to find educational content, strategy discussions, and support from other users. That said, Apex is a rule-based prop firm, and traders need to pay close attention to the trailing drawdown and risk management requirements. New traders often underestimate how quickly the trailing threshold can become a problem. Customer support has been responsive whenever I've needed assistance, although response times can vary during busy periods. Most common questions can also be answered through their documentation and community resources. Overall, I would recommend Apex Trader Funding to futures traders who have a consistent trading strategy and solid risk management. The affordable evaluations, reliable execution, multiple platform choices, and established reputation make it one of the strongest futures prop firms availa

One of the first accounts I ever bought trading prop due to their alluring entry fee of around $20 ish with promos. The caveat is once you get funded you need to pay an activation fee of $177 now on each account passed. The intraday trailing drawdown also sucks especially when you factor an all in cost of around $200 for the account. You would be better off trading other firms. The only advantage that Apex has these days is allowing up to 20 accounts. That's really it. Would recommend other firms over apex for sure.

I traded with Apex a lot on their legacy accounts. The rules were tough, not gonna lie but they forced discipline and careful planning and I know that this helped me grow as a trader. The Customer care was good but to be honest, I got all info from their website anyway, everything was explained in detail. Never had a payout denied, the process has always been quick.

The user experience with Apex is not bad at all. Some of the navigation is not as clean as you would want and at times its a bit hard to find certain things. The new rules with Apex are way better than the old Legacy accounts. Having traded both, I can firmly say that the EOD accounts are significantly better. The best thing about Apex is the fact that you can trade up to 20 accounts. Apex I believe is the best firm for beginners who are new to trading and want to save money trading the evaluation, and expert traders who can use the 20 accounts to their advantage. I love the 1 day pass features that they have. Its really been helpful to get funded fast. News trading is also allowed so you can easily get funded with Apex.

Everyone knows about Apex's intraday trailing drawdown, and so you really can't say they are trying to trick you with the rule. But, also you need to understand that that is why they pretty much always run 80-90 percent sale on their evaluations. I was denied a payout unjustly about four years ago when they did not offer EOD accounts. I swore off trading with them since--until when they recently offered EOD. After about 3-4 years of avoiding them, I tried their EOD. Their new EOD rules are reasonable enough. However, their live program and how they transition you to a live account is pretty much the worst in the industry. I got a payout from an EOD account. I don't think I'd trade with them again. BTW, even their 90 percent off evaluation accounts are not really a good deal because you have to pay extra when/if you activate PA, and the cost for PA activation is about the same as other firms' comparable accounts.

Apex's new EOD accs are nice, they give you 20x leverage, but their payout process is not the fastest, with not the best reputation for payout approvals, cheap low price for evals, but the activation fees will add up if you dont account for that when you pass accounts.

Apex is killer with the availability to add up to 20 accounts. No other Firm even offers that type of offer in the game. Extremely priced with all their plan and some don't even require the activation fee unlike others. They're very transparent with how to pass the accounts as well as getting started for a new trader. Apex was the first firm I ever started with and will look to use them as much as I can. very very beginner friendly

The Apex 50k EOD account is a premier choice for traders seeking a more forgiving, professional environment, primarily because its End-of-Day trailing drawdown removes the anxiety of intraday stop-outs by only updating your threshold at the market close. This structure allows your positions the necessary room to breathe during volatile sessions, perfectly complementing a strategy built on discipline rather than pure luck. With no forced minimum trading day requirements, you can capitalize on momentum and accelerate your path to funding once you hit your profit target. The 50k size serves as the perfect "sweet spot" for building a fleet of accounts, offering sufficient contract sizing to maximize returns while keeping individual risk levels conservative. While a one-time activation fee is standard to cover your data and platform access for the life of the funded account, the potential for 100% payouts on your first $25k makes the investment well worth it. By adhering to a steady, consistent approach that respects the Daily Loss Limit and the 50% consistency rule, this account becomes a powerful vehicle for scaling your capital and reaching your financial goals.
