Topstep was the first prop firm I ever used and I really liked it. At first I preferred it because I was accustomed to their chart which were easy to use. I had no issues with Topstep, but it wasn't super affordable and they never really offered discounts as well as the activation fee after you passed your eval (this was before they offered an option without an activation fee by the way). I ended up moving on other prop firms for budget reasons, and then I stayed away because technical issues became common at one point and they were changing their rules frequently.

Topstep is reliable. Their support can be hit or miss sometimes but most of the time they accommodate for trading issues. Payouts are on time and the TopstepX platform works well.

Best prop firm in the futures trading space. Topstep has been around longer than any firm, and I genuinely trust that they'll pay me out every time I request. The evaluation and funded rules have stayed the same pretty much forever, and I like how they are changing things as competition rises. For example, adding no activation fee options, introducing "Topstep Labs" accounts, etc. Also, in my opinion, Topstep hands down has the best trading platform, TopstepX. There has been a few inconsistencies and issues like platform outages, slow support, and recently mastercard processing issues. However they usually end up sorting things out. Payouts are very quick and consistent, you have to try your hardest to get denied. Overall my favorite prop firm in the space, and I highly recommend working with them.

They are generally a good firm, but has been doing some stuff lately that hasn't been a good look. A sudden massive wave of bans for people copytrading(I wasn't affected), shortly after had payout issues with wise. They also banned trading CPI recently. I've also heard that they forfeit your payout(on payout day) if they want to move you to live. Comparatively also slower to payout to firms like lucid and tradeify.

My experience with TopStep so far has been very good. I find their rules friendly to my trading style, and I find their platforms have been among the first to offer certain tools that benefit my trading, like being able to set market limits on both my losses and my gains. Their support is very good, and right now I feel positive about working with them.

My first futures firm was Topstep, and they were pretty much the best firm to trade with back then. However, with the release of TopstepX, the experience started getting slightly worse - though it seems to have improved now. I’d say their rules are still solid, aside from the latest news rule and the contract limitations (which are similar to those at other firms). Support can be a bit slow to respond, but they do get back to you and try to resolve issues adequately. Their platform appears to have gotten better as well, likely due to having more users than before. Overall, I’d say they’re still a good firm to trade with and receive payouts from, with a solid dashboard and relatively easy rules.

Great prop firm with solid rules, good pricing, and high payout caps. Overall, a very strong option. The only downsides are that spreads on TopstepX can sometimes be a bit high, and support often takes quite a while to respond. Still, everything else is very solid.

Topstepis a great prop firm! They have fair rules and great prices! I personally have not had any problems! I have multiple funded accounts with them and looking forward to a payout really soon! I wish they would give away free accounts

Used to be a very strong firm however most rules are updated, i love the platform however topstepx very clear and reliable. The 50k is a solid plan.
