My experience with Topstep has been mixed. The platform itself works well, and the support team is generally helpful. However, I have concerns about the consistency of some rules and policy changes. At times, rule updates felt unexpected and were not always communicated as clearly as they could have been, which created confusion and made it harder to plan trading strategies with confidence.

Topstep was and will always be by No 1 Prop Firm, my experience with Topstep has been nothing but excellent from both a trading and payout perspective. The evaluation process is challenging enough to build discipline while still being achievable for consistent traders. One of the biggest advantages is the reliability of their payout system—I have personally received payouts without any issues. The rules are clear, transparent, and designed to promote proper risk management rather than create unnecessary obstacles. I appreciate how Topstep allows traders to scale through multiple funded accounts while maintaining realistic expectations. The dashboard and account tracking tools make it easy to monitor performance and stay organized. Customer support has always been professional but still needs improvement i this area. as they are bit slow comparatively. The real blessing for ay trader is their platform Projectx, as a futures trader i should say it is the Best platform i have ever used in trading. Compared to many prop firms in the industry, Topstep has built a strong reputation for trust and consistency. Their focus on trader development, continuous innovation, new methods of payout caps & risk management for long-term success sets them apart from competitors. For anyone serious about futures trading and looking for a dependable prop firm, I confidently recommend Topstep based on my own positive experience.

Topstep is one of my favourite firms the platform is definitely the best in the game I don’t really get any more smoother fills then topstep other then on tradovate but topsteps functionality is a lot more cleaner and more easier to use which makes trading a lot more of a smoother experience accounts are great the DLL + double payout cap is amazing for promoting the right attitude when trading so Shout out to topstep for that!

Very solid and reliable firm. They have been in the game for a long time so Topstep is very reliable. They have made some questionable decisions in the past and had their hiccups, but they have been cleared up. The payouts are now almost instant, no more TopStepX issues, etc. Would certainly recommend.

My favorite firm in the industry by far. Best platform, best accounts and best flexibility. Whether its cheaper accounts with a daily loss limit and a higher payout cap or a standard no activation fee account with easy clear rules, Topstep has it. Not much reason to trade with any other firm when Topstep has the best sim funded accounts and best live program.

My first prop firm, really good funded rules and best trading platform to trade on. Would prefer more payouts before getting moved to live rule updated.

The first firm I traded with for a long period of time , love the project xplatform, payout process was slow however they did improve with the new aeropay selection. They rules are pretty much the standard to what everyone copies now. Customer service is ok Ive never had many issues only time was a rebill i didnt want and they refunded me .

They were Number 1 for the longest time but now, I believe other firms have caught up and even surpassed them. They are a very professional firm - With the most live traders in the space, So that confirms their trustworthiness. A few rule changes and payout caps have been their downfall in recent times. They are the front runners for no consistency accounts so you have to give respect where it is due. They have been calling up traders live after 1-2 payouts which is kind of a red flag.

Definitely one of the oldest prop firm in the market. Been through lots of ups and down but are coming back love their Responsible trading program and new increased payout cap thats amazing, Personally i had an small issue re;ated to trading platform during that time i feel quite un satisfied with the customer care, Hope they are polite and friendly .But instant payout, no sonsistency,2 days to pass Its really great HIGHLY RECOMENDED.
