They were Number 1 for the longest time but now, I believe other firms have caught up and even surpassed them. They are a very professional firm - With the most live traders in the space, So that confirms their trustworthiness. A few rule changes and payout caps have been their downfall in recent times. They are the front runners for no consistency accounts so you have to give respect where it is due. They have been calling up traders live after 1-2 payouts which is kind of a red flag.

Definitely one of the oldest prop firm in the market. Been through lots of ups and down but are coming back love their Responsible trading program and new increased payout cap thats amazing, Personally i had an small issue re;ated to trading platform during that time i feel quite un satisfied with the customer care, Hope they are polite and friendly .But instant payout, no sonsistency,2 days to pass Its really great HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

I have traded with topstep for a few years now. I have to say that this is the number 1 firm when it comes to risk management because of their topstepx platform. You can set maximum daily losses, number of trades, max profit target, and many more. Customer support is pretty good but some times I dealt with quite a bit of delay. I have several payouts and have never been denied a payout. Highly trusted firm in my opinion. Topstep rarely runs deals/ promos but when they do, it's defintely worth buying some accounts.

Great prop firm, no issues so far. Customer service is really good, rules are fair and easy to follow, payouts are smooth, and the scaling potential is big. Overall just a solid firm to work with.

Topstep has been solid for me. The rules make you trade clean, the platform feels smooth, and both of my payouts came through fast with zero issues. It’s one of the few firms that actually feels legit and supportive while you grow as a trader

Overall, it is a solid firm. Their plans and payout caps have degraded over the last two years, but one of their biggest advantages is that they have the largest live amount cap for trading. Also, it is not a trailing drawdown-based account, unlike Lucid and Tradeify, but is based on the equity balance. They have only one type of plan with different account sizes. There are no instant or direct plans, and no daily payout plans. Go for this firm if you want to have a large live account balance and do not want to risk your personal capital.

I've been trading using Topstep on and off for the last 18 months. Overall a solid beginner firm. They change their rules frequently and their topstep X trading platform hasn't been the most reliable over my time trading with them however it seems like they are trying to keep up with the rest of the industry. Their new areopay option for payouts is excellent as I received my last payout in under 5 minutes from request to bank account. I would still recommend them as a firm to have in your arsenal as a futures trader.

Topstep is the best prop firm currenlty operating in my opinion. Their plans and payout potential are unmatched, their reliability is the best in the space, and they care about costumers. The only negative points are maybe their higher prices compared to some of their competitors, and the fact that you are limited to using their Project X platform without any alternative available.

Topstep is the oldest firm of the industry. They have nearly no rules on their accounts. Their pricing are really competive expecially if you had the daily loss limit which I would Highly suggest. They promote a lot consistency and trading like a live account! Lot of propfirm doesnt want you to succeed but TopStep will put everything in place to prone your success. Their platform TopStepX is a real awesome platform. You could manage your risk in anyway you would think (maximum number of trades, trading hours, limit instrument you could trade and the max limit per day that you could manage). TopStep added recently the consistency path which allow you to make payouts each 3 days with a 40% consistency rule. This added with the dailyloss limit will allow you to unlock double the max payout allowed. If you prefer the other path, then there is no consistency but you will need to make 5 days of min 150$ for payout. The payout process is really fast. If you need any help, their customer service respond really fast. If there is any problems with the platform, Topstep makes it right! It is my top 1 firm

The OG Prop firm, I think most people will agree that they are the most trusted name in the space, but i will say over the more recent years, they have not been as innovative as they previously were. besides opening their own Brokerage, their prices have remained somewhat costly with activation fees up until recently where they changed payout caps, requirements and plans to allow for an all-in fee with less potential payout per period. But I have never seen topstep deny a payout for a BS reason unlike some other firms out there. respectfully i have had a good experience with topstep, except for slow customer service, which i can understand due to the fact they have a very large following.
