I really like topstepX! One of the best trading platforms there is tbh! Easy to request payouts and they pay all the time.

As one of the og in the prop firm space, they live up to its name but they need to keep up to the industry. Overall i have a good experience with topstep, i haven't got a payout denied. The payout process is just one of the downside, it just takes a long time compared to the other prop firms.

Topstep my first firm to try prop firm and my first firm to get a payout, so there is always a bias with them. The old Topstep firm was one of the best despite it being a combine+activation fee, the rules at that time made it make sense that it cost that much. The current Topstep rules are still one of the best in the industry, moving similar to other firm 'Flex' plan, they offer 2 days to pass than most firms which are 3 days. There trading rules are relax as well and they offer only one platform now which is the downside, TopstepX, there was issue previously but now the platform has been super stable since then. The payout process has been slow for Topstep which is the only downside for international customer as recently they have upgraded to Aeropay for US resident which is instant payout. Once they also do this for international customer, they will move up a notch in there payout. But I can recommend Topstep for sure, I have had no payout denial with them and they have always paid, the rules and no activation accounts has been an nice addition to topstep and they also offer instant activation which I always look for in firms now. I would recommend Topstep if you don't mind TopstepX.

Topstep has been my first firm I got a payout from. Overall experience has been really smooth especially Topstep X platform. Everything's improved drastically. Community is good overall but payout takes up a bit time for Non-US traders-prolly the only thing Topstep lacks in(Mine took 6 days to hit bank via WIRE). Overall highly recommended.

I’ve had a genuinely positive experience with Topstep and it has honestly been the best prop firm experience I’ve had so far. Since June 2025, I’ve passed over 25 combines and received around 8 payouts through Topstep — more success than I’ve had with any other prop firm. That consistency alone says a lot about the platform and how trader-friendly it feels. One thing I especially prefer is the Standard account path. The low barrier to entry at only $50 makes it accessible, and I really like that you have up to 30 days to pay the activation fee after passing. That flexibility helps traders focus on performance first instead of feeling pressured upfront. What also stands out is the professionalism and transparency of the company. The rules are straightforward, payouts have been smooth in my experience, and the overall environment feels built around long-term traders rather than hype. Their risk management structure encourages discipline while still allowing traders room to grow, which is important if you actually trade consistently every day. No prop firm is perfect, but based on my personal experience, Topstep has earned its reputation and continues to be one of the firms I trust most in the futures prop space.
