Top One Futures, the US futures prop firm, runs a line-up of evaluation and instant-funding plans: Elite Access, Elite Daily, Instant Sim Funded and Ignite. Its new Launchpad is where the firm tests experimental account types. Each launch is sold in a fixed quantity, and once it sells out it may not come back.
The second launch, LP-02, is Launchpad X-Ultra. It takes the familiar Top One evaluation and changes the trade-off: much larger payouts with no buffer to build first, in exchange for one stricter rule. The daily loss limit no longer just pauses the account for the day; it ends it. The rest of this article walks through each stage.
The Evaluation
X-Ultra is a one-step evaluation, bought with a one-time payment. There is no activation fee when you pass.
| X-Ultra 50K | X-Ultra 100K | X-Ultra 150K | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price (one-time) | $258 | $378 | $518 |
| Profit target (8%) | $4,000 | $8,000 | $12,000 |
| Max Loss Limit (EOD trailing) | $4,000 | $8,000 | $12,000 |
| Daily Loss Limit (hard breach) | $1,000 | $1,500 | $2,000 |
| Consistency | 50% | 50% | 50% |
| Minimum trading days | None | None | None |
| Max contracts | 5 minis / 50 micros | 10 minis / 100 micros | 15 minis / 150 micros |
| Time limit | 30 days | 30 days | 30 days |
| Activation fee | None | None | None |
The 50% consistency rule means your best trading day cannot be more than half of your total profit at the moment you pass. On the 50K, a $2,500 best day means you need $5,000 in total profit to pass, not $4,000. There is no minimum number of trading days, but the rule effectively requires at least two profitable days.
The Max Loss Limit is unusually wide: equal to the profit target, at 8% of the account.
The Daily Loss Limit
On every other Top One plan, reaching the daily loss limit pauses the account until the next session. On X-Ultra it is a hard breach: the account fails. The limit is measured from the day's starting balance and counts closed losses, open losses, commissions and fees. It resets at 6:00 PM ET each trading day using the updated balance.
Top One's example on the 100K: you start the day at $102,000. If the balance, including open positions and fees, drops to $100,500 at any point that day, the account fails.
The Funded Stage
| X-Ultra 50K | X-Ultra 100K | X-Ultra 150K | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Max Loss Limit (EOD trailing) | $3,000 | $4,500 | $6,000 |
| Daily Loss Limit (hard breach) | $1,000 | $1,500 | $2,000 |
| Consistency | None | None | None |
| Payout buffer | None | None | None |
| Starting contracts | 2 minis / 20 micros | 4 minis / 40 micros | 6 minis / 60 micros |
| Profit split | 90/10 | 90/10 | 90/10 |
| News trading | Allowed | Allowed | Allowed |
The Max Loss Limit is tighter than in the evaluation. It follows the highest end-of-day balance upwards, never moves down, and locks once it reaches the starting balance + $100. On the 50K funded account, that happens once the account closes a day at $53,100 or higher; from then on the account fails below $50,100.
There is no news rule on X-Ultra in either phase. Trades can be placed before, during and after news events.
Payouts
A funded X-Ultra account has no buffer to build before the first withdrawal. Once the profitable-day requirement is met, a payout can be requested from the dashboard.
| X-Ultra 50K | X-Ultra 100K | X-Ultra 150K | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profitable days per payout (standard) | 7 | 7 | 7 |
| Profitable days per payout (4-Day Payout add-on) | 4 | 4 | 4 |
| Minimum profit for a day to count | $250 | $500 | $750 |
| Minimum payout | $50 | $50 | $50 |
| Maximum per payout | $5,000 | $7,000 | $9,000 |
| Profit split | 90/10 | 90/10 | 90/10 |
After each payout, the count starts again: 7 new profitable days, or 4 with the add-on, before the next request. The 4-Day Payout add-on is added for an extra fee when the account is bought.
One rule limits the size of each request. At least 50% of every payout must come from new profit made since the previous payout. Top One's example on the 150K: after a first payout of $5,000 leaves the account at $155,000, the trader grows it to $159,000. That is $4,000 of new profit, so the largest allowed second payout is $8,000, not the $9,000 cap.
Contract Limits and Scaling
The evaluation has fixed limits with no scaling. The funded account starts small and scales on end-of-day profit (closing balance minus starting balance).
| Level | X-Ultra 50K | X-Ultra 100K | X-Ultra 150K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 (start) | 2 minis | 4 minis | 6 minis |
| Level 2 | 3 minis from +$1,000 | 6 minis from +$1,000 | 8 minis from +$1,500 |
| Level 3 | 4 minis from +$2,000 | 8 minis from +$2,000 | 10 minis from +$3,000 |
| Level 4 | – | – | 12 minis from +$4,500 |
Each mini equals 10 micros. The level is checked at the end of each trading day and applies from the next one; intraday profit does not unlock a level. Scaling also works downwards: if the end-of-day balance falls below a threshold, including after a payout, the limit drops back the next day.
Time Limit, Resets and Account Limits
- 30 days to pass. A failed evaluation can be reset, which gives a fresh evaluation and a new 30-day period. Resets cost $119 / $179 / $249.
- Resets survive the sell-out. The 1,500-account cap applies to new accounts only.
- Up to 3 X-Ultra accounts at once, and copy trading is allowed across up to 3 X-Ultra accounts.
- Inactivity. An account that goes 14 days without a trade is closed.
- Trading day. It runs from 6:00 PM ET to 4:10 PM ET, and all positions must be closed by 4:10 PM ET.
Going Live
After 3 successful payouts from one X-Ultra funded account, a risk manager reviews the trader and either keeps them in the sim environment or moves them to Pre-Live or Live. During the review, the trader's other accounts are disabled.
| Live 50K | Live 100K | Live 150K | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starting balance | $0 | $0 | $0 |
| Max Loss Limit (EOD) | $2,000 | $3,000 | $4,000 |
| Daily Loss Limit | None | None | None |
| Consistency | None | None | None |
| Max contracts | 3 | 5 | 7 |
| Minimum payout | $200 | $200 | $200 |
| Profit split | 80/20 | 80/20 | 80/20 |
Live payouts are available every 24 hours after the previous one is approved, with no payout cap. Traders start with one live account and receive another, up to 5, each time the latest one closes a day at $2,100 / $3,100 / $4,100.

The Bottom Line
X-Ultra is built for traders who manage daily risk tightly and want large, buffer-free withdrawals. The funded account removes the two rules that slow most Top One payouts, the buffer and consistency, and lifts the per-request cap to more than three times Elite Access on the 50K. The price is a daily loss limit that ends the account rather than the session, and a cadence of 7 profitable days per payout unless the 4-Day Payout add-on is bought up front.
The evaluation is the harder part to plan for. The 8% target is above Elite Access and Elite Daily, the 50% consistency rule rules out a single big day, and the 30-day clock leaves little room for a slow start, though the wide drawdown helps. The account is also finite: Top One sells a fixed number of LP-02 accounts, and the Launchpad page shows how many remain. Full rules are on the Top One Futures firm page.
